FAQ's

Why are you the photographer for me?
I love photography. I love it. I love trying new angles, lighting effects, and capturing "surprise" moments. I truly have a passion for photography, and love that your wedding is a once in a lifetime event, that needs to be photographed for ages to see and witness.

Do you only do weddings?
No. I also photograph families, babies, senior portraits, and any other event you would like. In addition to weddings, I also do engagement and bridal pictures.

Do you have a studio?
I do not have a studio. I find that most of my clients like to shoot on location anyway, and not having an actual "studio" keeps costs down for me, as well as for my pricing. I do not have to add extra "fees" to pay for a studio of mine.

How do I book your services?
First you fill out a Contact From, call me, or e-mail me, whichever works best for you. We can figure out what day works best for you, if your date is available. Then I'll draw up a contract defining all of the terms, payments, packages etc. You then pay the deposit, and you are booked!

What is the deposit for, and why is it non-refundable?
Like all other service businesses, I require a 50% non refundable deposit. The deposit is used to securely hold your date. The deposit is non-refundable because even if you do cancel your photography session, I have still done a lot to prepare for the day, like buy memory cards, turn down other clients, research best posing and areas at your location, etc. It also discourages people who are not looking for quality service.

If you do move your wedding date though, the deposit is transferable.

What happens after we reserve our date?
This is where the fun begins! We then schedule a time to get together, go over details, what kind of posing you want, what shots you are looking for, etc. We come up with an event timeline, depending on how long you are needing services. We also set up a "go to" person who will help coordinate how pictures will be taken. We typically have 1 or 2 meetings, but I keep myself available through phone and e-mail constantly.

And what about after the wedding or photo session?
Typically, it takes about 2 weeks to process, edit, and enhance photos, sometimes less. Then you would come into the office, we'll go over the pictures, you can order more prints or products if you'd like more copies for yourself or your families and then you are on your way off to show the world the pictures of your special day!
